Janine Leach DO ND PhD

Janine graduated from the College of Osteopaths in 1992 and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and the General Council and Register of Naturopaths. She practices as an osteopath and is also a Senior Research Fellow in Osteopathy at the University of Brighton. Her professional activities include being a member of Council of the British Naturopathic Association and Secretary of the International Cranial Association.

Her research appointments include membership of the NCRI (National Cancer Research Institute) Complementary Therapies Clinical Studies Development Group, the National Council for Osteopathic Research (NCOR), and the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a Trustee of the Research Council for Complementary Medicine,

Her research started with a PhD in medical physics in 1978. Janine spent several decades in epidemiology and health services research in cancer. Interests currently are on the role of osteopathy in headache and migraine, support of cancer patients, and in lymphoedema, and evaluating the risks of osteopathic treatment.
